Vereli Terms of Use
These are the terms for using Vereli as a couple planning a wedding, as a guest, or as a visitor to the website. They are short on purpose. Wedding businesses that list on Vereli also agree to the Wedding Vendor Terms.

1. What this is
These terms are between you and Vereli, an Australian sole trader. They cover the Vereli website and the free tools on it: the wedding planner (checklist, budget and payment tracker, guest list, seating chart and wedding details), the gift registry, the wedding vendor directory, and the planning guides and calculators. By creating an account, or by using a tool or page, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Vereli.
2. What Vereli does, and what it does not
- Vereli is a set of planning tools and a directory. It is free. If that ever changes for something you already use, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
- Vereli does not take payment, hold money or handle bookings for the planner, the registry or the directory. The budget and payment tracker is your own private record. It does not move money and Vereli does not check it. Gift links on a registry go to a retailer's own website, and any purchase is between the buyer and that retailer.
- If Vereli sells a product itself, that sale has its own Buyer Terms, shown to you before you pay.
- The planning guides, checklists and calculators are general information. They are not legal, financial, tax or professional advice, and your own circumstances may differ.
3. Your account
- You sign in with an emailed link, a password or, if you choose it, your Google account. Give us a real email address you can read, and keep your sign-in details to yourself.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what anyone you invite to help plan can do. You choose which sections a helper or co-planner can see, and you can remove them at any time.
- Vereli is for adults planning a wedding. It is not directed at children, and please do not make an account for one.
- You can delete your planner and registry at any time from your settings. How long we keep information, and how to have it removed, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
4. What you put in
- What you add (your names, wedding details, checklist, budget, guest list, gifts and photos) is yours. You give Vereli a free, non-exclusive licence to store it and, only where you publish it, to show it to the people who have your link. The licence ends when you delete it, except for copies held in backups for a short period and the deletion record described in the Privacy Policy.
- Your budget, payments and guest list are private to you and your helpers. They are never shown to guests.
- You are responsible for your guests' details. Only add details you are entitled to hold. If you use Vereli to email guests, you are the sender of that email, so only write to people who would expect to hear from you about your wedding, and honour anyone who asks you to stop.
- What you put in must not be unlawful, misleading, abusive or someone else's property. Use photos you own or have permission to use.
5. Your registry and what guests can do
- A registry is private until you publish it. Anyone who has the link can see it, so share it only with people you want to see it. Unpublishing takes it down.
- Guests can mark a gift as claimed or send an RSVP. Vereli cannot confirm that a marked gift was actually bought, and a mark can be made by anyone who has the link. Treat it as a note, not a receipt.
- If you are a guest, use a link only for the wedding it was sent for, and give honest answers.
6. The directory and enquiries
- Wedding businesses list themselves, and Vereli does not verify what they say. The page says the details are provided by the business. Check a business yourself before you rely on it.
- You need to be signed in to send an enquiry. We pass it to the business you chose, and to no one else. From then on that business holds its own copy and is responsible for how it uses it.
- Any agreement, price, deposit or cancellation is between you and the business. Vereli is not a party to it, does not hold your money, and is not responsible for what a business does or does not do. Where a business offers booking terms through Vereli, we keep a record of exactly what you agreed to, as the Privacy Policy explains.
- You can report a listing or an enquiry. We look into reports and, where something breaks these terms or the Vendor Terms, we may hide or remove it.
7. How to use Vereli
Please do not:
- break the law, or use Vereli to harass, deceive or harm anyone, or to send spam;
- pretend to be someone else, or make an account for a person who has not agreed;
- scrape the site, run automated requests against it, or try to get around a rate limit, bot check or access control;
- probe, disrupt or try to break into Vereli or another person's account. If you find a security problem, please tell us through the Contact us form.
8. If something goes wrong
We may hide content, or suspend or close an account, if it breaks these terms, is fake, or puts someone at risk. Where we can, we tell you why in plain language and how to reply, and we aim to answer within 3 business days. If we got it wrong we restore it. You may close your account at any time.
9. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. For a change that matters to you, we tell you by email, or on your next sign-in, before it applies. If you do not agree, you can delete your planner and stop using Vereli.
10. Limits
Vereli is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, that it will always be available, or that a business, guest or retailer will do what they say. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is nil, and we are not liable for lost profit or for what a business, a guest or a retailer does. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Australian Capital Territory, and you and we submit to the courts there.
12. Contact
Use the Contact us form on our website. A person reads it.
