3 florists for a wedding in full bloom in the Hunter Valley
Highlights. Flowers do a lot of quiet work on the day: they set the mood, soften a venue and show up in nearly every photo. If you are dreaming of a wedding in full bloom, these three Hunter Valley and Newcastle florists are a lovely place to start, each with a distinct style. We list them in no particular order.
What we mean by "in full bloom"
We mean flowers that feel abundant and personal, whether that is wild and colourful or soft and minimal. The six florists below cover that range.
The three
Noah and the Fox, Hunter Valley

Noah and the Fox is a small family team who say your flowers should not be ordinary, because your love story is not. They describe their work as whimsical and romantic, lush and decadent, and born from a love of colour and creativity. They say they listen for what makes your love yours and design around it.
They offer full-service weddings, micro wedding packages and event styling, and publish a price guide on their site so you can see where you stand before you enquire.
A good fit if you want colour, personality and a family team who treat the design as a conversation.
"Working with Tiff and Noah and the Fox was nothing short of enchanting."

Lily and Mae, Newcastle and the Hunter

Lily is the founder and designer behind Lily and Mae, which started as a floristry studio and has grown into a design studio for weddings, events and brand moments. She grew up with a mother who was always making and rearranging, in fabric and interiors first, and says design is about the feeling it creates.
The studio's pitch is translating your story into moments that honour who you are, where you are celebrating and the beauty you are drawn to. Lily writes in the first person on her site, and it shows.
A good fit if you want florals treated as part of the whole look of the day, with an artist's eye.
"You completely took my vision and made it come to life in the best way possible."

Edwards and Day, Newcastle and Lorn

Edwards and Day are two florists with two different aesthetics, and they like it that way. Day prefers minimal, organic concepts in soft, neutral tones, while Edwards loves bold colours and extravagant creations. Between them they say they cover whatever your style is.
They specialise in weddings and events, working between the Central Coast, Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and Port Stephens, and say they love collaborating with couples on the final design.
A good fit if you are not sure of your style yet and want a pair of florists who can go either way.
"We were blown away by how perfectly Amy brought our vision to life. We wanted a black tie, minimalist look with white roses, and she absolutely nailed it. What really stood out was Amy's highly efficient communication and how helpful she was in making sure we got the most out of everything. On the day, the team were incredibly professional and detail-focused."

Before you book
Questions worth asking any florist:
- Which flowers are in season for our date, and what can we swap if something is not available?
- What is included in the quote, and what is hire versus keep?
- Who sets up on the day, and who collects afterwards?
- What is your payment schedule, and what happens if our date changes?
We chose these florists from public information; each has a working website and active socials and shows Hunter Valley weddings. Inclusion is not paid for and we have not tested their services.
